What We Believe

At Our Savior, we firmly believe the doctrines of historic Christianity as our Lord revealed them in his Bible. 

We Believe:

• That the Bible is God’s Word in its entirety; 2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, and correcting ...”
• That the one and only God has revealed himself to us as the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
• That all people have sinned and continue to fall short of God's expectations; and that our sin separates us from God.

But​ ...we also Believe: 

• That the Son of God took the punishment for our sin upon himself in his crucifixion, and thus made peace with God.
• That those who reject or ignore Jesus Christ will suffer eternal separation from God, while those who believe and accept Christ as their Savior and Lord will live forever in heaven.
• That Christians demonstrate their faith by worshiping their Lord who has done ALL for them, and by going out to serve the community where God has planted them.

Why We Exist

Why We Exist: We’re a community of people who have placed Jesus Christ as the center of our lives, and the center of our faith community. Why? Because Christ is the face of God—not an angry God who looks to punish, maim and kill. He’s the God who is doing all He can to bring us back into a relationship with himself. And Christ did that by becoming the sacrifice for our sins! That is life-changing news, and it has changed us. So here in our midst, you’ll find this as our mission: Connecting people to Jesus ... while growing as a community of hope!
